It's a city of neighborhoods and water, from the North End's bakeries and Chinatown's dim sum to the triple-deckers of Dorchester and the brick bowfronts of the South End, with the harbor, the Charles and the parks of the Emerald Necklace in between.

Can a business in Cambridge, Somerville or the suburbs list here?

Yes, if it has a Boston connection. The board covers the city and Greater Boston, so a studio in Cambridge, a cafe in Somerville, a clam shack on the North Shore or a contractor in Quincy that serves the city can list. Listings are reviewed against the board's rules, and ones that break them are removed.

Can a student group, a nonprofit or a seasonal pop-up list?

Yes. Any business, event, venue, organization or cause with a Boston connection can list: a student theater production, a food pantry's drive in Roxbury, a winter market downtown, a harbor cruise out to the islands, a charity walk along the Charles or a summer pop-up in East Boston. How much does a spot on the Boston board cost?
